Ceiling Fan Installation Information

Our Ceiling Fan Installation includes the removal of the existing ceiling fan or light fixture, and assembly and installation of the new ceiling fan purchased through Lamps Plus.

This base installation assumes the existing wiring is in place, that the circuit can handle the power requirements of the new fan, and that the J-Box (housing the ceiling fan is attached to) can support the weight of the new fan.

What is included:
  • Remove existing fan or light fixture and replace it with new one
  • Installation using existing wiring and J-Box (electrical housing)
  • Installation limited to 10' high ceilings and not over stairs
What is excluded:
  • Running new wiring or upgrading circuits. Necessary electrical service (connections) for ceiling fan location must already be in place
  • New J-Box to support the new fan
  • New hard wired fan switch
  • Ceiling Medallion installation
  • Patching and painting if any drywall needs to be cut
What is included:
