A free appointment means there is no charge for the Independent Service Pro to arrive at your home, assess what needs to be done and complete a free estimate. In certain instances, a diagnostic fee is required to identify the work that needs to be done.
A diagnostic fee will only be charged if the Pros need to take out their tools and perform work in order to identify your problem. (Don’t worry: you’ll be asked for your consent before any such diagnostic work begins.)
If you choose to complete the actual work with ProConnect, the diagnostic fee will be credited back to you.
When you book an appointment with us, your Independent Service Pro will arrive within a two-hour window.

It may not. The two-hour appointment window refers to the timeframe in which your Independent Service Pro will arrive. It is not the timeframe in which your job will be finished.
The person who booked the appointment doesn’t need to be present. However, we require that an adult over the age of 18 (Who has the authority to authorize an estimate) must be at home during the two-hour appointment window and for the duration of the visit.
