Ceiling Light Installation Information

Our Ceiling Light Installation includes the removal of the existing light fixture, and installation of the new light fixture purchased through Lamps Plus.

This base installation assumes the existing wiring is in place, that the circuit can handle the power requirements of the new light, and that the J-Box (housing the light is attached to) can support the weight of the new light fixture.

What is included:
  • Remove existing light fixture and replace it with new one
  • Installation using existing wiring and J-Box (electrical housing)
  • Installation limited to 10' high ceilings and not over stairs
What is excluded:
  • Running new wiring or upgrading circuits. Necessary electrical service (connections) for light fixture location must already be in place
  • New J-Box to support the new light fixture
  • Install new light switch
  • Ceiling Medallion installation
  • Patching and painting if any drywall needs to be cut
What is included:
